### sec.334ZT Who may apply for water monitoring authority
The holder of a mineral development licence or mining lease may apply for a water monitoring authority for stated land outside the area of the licence or lease to allow the holder to comply with the holder’s underground water obligations for the licence or lease.
Without limiting subsection (1) , the application may be made or granted—
over land in the area of another mining tenement; and
for 1 or more mineral development licences or mining leases held by the same applicant.

(sec.334ZT-ssec.1) The holder of a mineral development licence or mining lease may apply for a water monitoring authority for stated land outside the area of the licence or lease to allow the holder to comply with the holder’s underground water obligations for the licence or lease.
(sec.334ZT-ssec.2) Without limiting subsection (1) , the application may be made or granted— over land in the area of another mining tenement; and for 1 or more mineral development licences or mining leases held by the same applicant.
- (a) over land in the area of another mining tenement; and
- (b) for 1 or more mineral development licences or mining leases held by the same applicant.
