### sec.318DU Plan period
The proposed plan must state its period.
The period must not be longer than—
if the term sought for the mining lease is less than 5 years from the granting of the mining lease—the term of the mining lease; or
if the term sought for the mining lease is 5 years or more—5 years from the start of the term.

(sec.318DU-ssec.1) The proposed plan must state its period.
(sec.318DU-ssec.2) The period must not be longer than— if the term sought for the mining lease is less than 5 years from the granting of the mining lease—the term of the mining lease; or if the term sought for the mining lease is 5 years or more—5 years from the start of the term.
- (a) if the term sought for the mining lease is less than 5 years from the granting of the mining lease—the term of the mining lease; or
- (b) if the term sought for the mining lease is 5 years or more—5 years from the start of the term.
