### sec.317R Mining lease taken to have development plan until decision about approval This section applies— if, under section 317O , the holder of a prescribed mineral mining lease lodges a proposed later development plan before the end of the current plan period for the lease; and until either— the holder is given notice that the proposed plan is approved; or refusal of the proposed plan takes effect under section 317V . Despite the current plan period for the lease ending— the mining lease is taken to have a development plan; and the holder may carry out any authorised activity for the lease. s 317R ins 2020 No. 14 s 142 (sec.317R-ssec.1) This section applies— if, under section 317O , the holder of a prescribed mineral mining lease lodges a proposed later development plan before the end of the current plan period for the lease; and until either— the holder is given notice that the proposed plan is approved; or refusal of the proposed plan takes effect under section 317V .
