### sec.162 Adjustment of rental etc. upon surrender etc. of exploration permit
Upon a surrender of an exploration permit or the reduction in the area of the permit such adjustments as the Minister approves shall be made with respect to the rental payable under the exploration permit and security deposited and to the terms and conditions of the permit.
Any moneys payable to the Crown under the adjustments approved by the Minister pursuant to subsection (1) which have not been recovered by utilisation of the security deposit may be recovered as a debt due and owing to the Crown by action in the Land Court.
In an action under subsection (2) for recovery of a debt due to the Crown, the production to the Land Court of a certificate by the chief executive certifying the amount of that debt shall be evidence and, in the absence of evidence to the contrary, conclusive evidence of the debt and the amount thereof.
