### sec.136B Application and operation of pt 3 This part— applies to exploration permits for coal; and provides for a process for the granting of exploration permits for coal— generally, by competitive tender; or to a person who holds 1 or more exploration permits for coal for the same land that are surrendered immediately before the grant of the permit; or to a person in relation to a coal mining project under division 5 .
