### sec.131A Approval to conduct special activity
This section applies if the chief executive considers—
it is necessary or appropriate for a person to conduct a special activity declared under a special activity notice; and
because of urgency, it would be impracticable for the person to be required to conduct the activity under a permission or commercial activity agreement.
The chief executive may, by notice given to the person, approve the conduct of the special activity.
Subsection (2) is not limited, or otherwise affected, by the special activity notice.

(sec.131A-ssec.1) This section applies if the chief executive considers— it is necessary or appropriate for a person to conduct a special activity declared under a special activity notice; and because of urgency, it would be impracticable for the person to be required to conduct the activity under a permission or commercial activity agreement.
(sec.131A-ssec.2) The chief executive may, by notice given to the person, approve the conduct of the special activity.
