### sec.78 Tampering with seized things
If an inspector restricts access to a seized thing, a person must not tamper or attempt to tamper with it, or something restricting access to it, without an inspector’s approval.
Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.
If an inspector or a person acting at the inspector’s direction makes seized equipment inoperable, a person must not tamper or attempt to tamper with the equipment, without an inspector’s approval.
