### sec.69 Power to require information about contravention
This section applies if an inspector reasonably believes—
this Act has been contravened; and
a person may be able to give information about the contravention.
The inspector may require the person to give information to the person’s knowledge about the contravention within a stated reasonable time and in a stated reasonable way.

When making a requirement under subsection (2) , the inspector must warn the person it is an offence to fail to comply with the requirement unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
A person of whom a requirement is made under subsection (2) must comply with the requirement, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
Maximum penalty for subsection (4) —15 penalty units.
If the person is an individual, it is a reasonable excuse for the individual not to comply with the requirement if complying with the requirement might tend to incriminate the individual.
