### sec.66 General powers after entering places
This section applies to an inspector who enters a place under section 59 .
However, if an inspector enters a place to ask the occupier’s consent to enter premises, this section applies to the inspector only if the consent is given or the entry is otherwise authorised.
For monitoring and enforcing compliance with this Act, the inspector may do all or any of the following—
search any part of the place;
inspect, measure, test, photograph or film any part of the place or anything at the place;
mark or seal a container or other thing at the place;
open a container if the inspector considers it is necessary for exercising a power;
take a sample of or from anything at the place;
take an extract from, or copy, a document at the place;
take into or onto the place any person, equipment and materials the inspector reasonably requires for exercising a power under this division.
(sec.66-ssec.1) This section applies to an inspector who enters a place under section 59 .
(sec.66-ssec.2) However, if an inspector enters a place to ask the occupier’s consent to enter premises, this section applies to the inspector only if the consent is given or the entry is otherwise authorised.

- (a) search any part of the place;
- (b) inspect, measure, test, photograph or film any part of the place or anything at the place;
- (c) mark or seal a container or other thing at the place;
- (d) open a container if the inspector considers it is necessary for exercising a power;
- (e) take a sample of or from anything at the place;
- (f) take an extract from, or copy, a document at the place;
- (g) take into or onto the place any person, equipment and materials the inspector reasonably requires for exercising a power under this division.
