### sec.12 Revocation of park comprising a protected area under the Nature Conservation Act 1992
This section applies if—
a part of a marine park is dedicated as a protected area under the Nature Conservation Act 1992 ; and
the dedication of the protected area provides a higher level of protection of the park’s marine environment than is provided for under this Act.
A regulation revoking the declaration of the part of the park comprising the protected area may be made without a resolution of the Legislative Assembly mentioned in section 9 (2) .
(sec.12-ssec.1) This section applies if— a part of a marine park is dedicated as a protected area under the Nature Conservation Act 1992 ; and the dedication of the protected area provides a higher level of protection of the park’s marine environment than is provided for under this Act.
(sec.12-ssec.2) A regulation revoking the declaration of the part of the park comprising the protected area may be made without a resolution of the Legislative Assembly mentioned in section 9 (2) .
- (a) a part of a marine park is dedicated as a protected area under the Nature Conservation Act 1992 ; and
- (b) the dedication of the protected area provides a higher level of protection of the park’s marine environment than is provided for under this Act.
