### sec.38 Orders to direct mode of payment
An order made by a court under this part shall direct that—
the moneys payable under the order be paid to the clerk of the court for the place specified in the order; and
the moneys payable under the order for or towards the maintenance of a person be paid, except where otherwise provided in this part, weekly, monthly, or otherwise periodically; and
the moneys payable under the order, other than moneys referred to in paragraph (b) , be paid in one sum or by instalments or partly in one sum and partly by instalments; and
in any case where payments are to be made weekly, monthly, or otherwise periodically or by instalments—the payments shall commence on a date specified in the order, which date may, subject to this Act, be a past or future date.
- (a) the moneys payable under the order be paid to the clerk of the court for the place specified in the order; and
- (b) the moneys payable under the order for or towards the maintenance of a person be paid, except where otherwise provided in this part, weekly, monthly, or otherwise periodically; and
- (c) the moneys payable under the order, other than moneys referred to in paragraph (b) , be paid in one sum or by instalments or partly in one sum and partly by instalments; and
- (d) in any case where payments are to be made weekly, monthly, or otherwise periodically or by instalments—the payments shall commence on a date specified in the order, which date may, subject to this Act, be a past or future date.
