### sec.132 Appearance by officers of the public service
The Minister may authorise 1 or more officers of the public service to appear on behalf of the complainant or applicant in any proceedings under this Act to which the officer’s authority extends.
Any such authority may be given in respect of particular proceedings, or any class or classes of proceedings, under this Act.
An officer so authorised shall be entitled to appear and be heard in any proceedings to which the officer’s authority extends as if the officer were the complainant or applicant in those proceedings.
Professional costs may be allowed in respect of any such appearance and any professional costs so allowed shall, when recovered, be paid to the consolidated fund.
