### sec.4A Consent jurisdiction
If the parties to a proceeding in relation to an amount for which the Supreme Court or District Court has jurisdiction agree that a Magistrates Court may have jurisdiction in relation to the amount, the Magistrates Court has jurisdiction for the proceeding.
The agreement must—
be written; and
be signed by each of the parties or their lawyers; and
include a statement that the parties know that the proceeding is not otherwise within the jurisdiction of a Magistrates Court; and
be filed in accordance with the rules.

(sec.4A-ssec.1) If the parties to a proceeding in relation to an amount for which the Supreme Court or District Court has jurisdiction agree that a Magistrates Court may have jurisdiction in relation to the amount, the Magistrates Court has jurisdiction for the proceeding.
