### sec.3C Appointment of bailiffs and bailiff’s assistants
A Magistrates Court shall from time to time appoint a bailiff or bailiffs for the service and execution of the process, judgments, and orders authorised by this Act.
Such bailiff or bailiffs shall receive to their own use the prescribed fees.
A bailiff may appoint an appropriate person in writing to assist the bailiff.
The bailiff is responsible for the civil acts and defaults of the assistant in the discharge or purported discharge of the assistant’s duties as assistant.
A registrar of a Magistrates Court may give directions to a bailiff or bailiff’s assistant appointed under this section about the discharge of the functions of the bailiff.
