### sec.75 Retrospective operation of amended s 51 Amended section 51 is taken to have always applied in relation to a magistrate’s performance or exercise of a function or power as a magistrate. However, subsection (1) does not apply for the purposes of a proceeding against a magistrate started before the introduction day.
