### sec.16 Functions of advisory committee
The advisory committee has the following functions—
to make, in conjunction with the Chief Magistrate, a transfer policy for magistrates;
to make transfer recommendations on matters referred to it by the Chief Magistrate under section 23 having regard to the transfer policy;
to consider and make recommendations about other matters affecting Magistrates Courts referred to it by the Chief Magistrate.
