### sec.88 Directions to terminate affecting lottery agents
This section applies if, after considering the accepted representations for the show cause notice, the chief executive still believes—
a ground exists to direct the termination of the agency agreement; and
the act, omission or other thing constituting the ground is of a serious and fundamental nature; and
either—
the integrity of the conduct of lotteries by the lottery operator may be jeopardised; or
the public interest may be affected adversely.
This section also applies if the lottery agent fails to comply with a direction to rectify a matter within the period stated in the relevant notice.
The chief executive may, by written notice given to the lottery operator, direct the lottery operator to terminate the agreement within the time stated in the notice.
If the chief executive decides to give a direction under this section, the chief executive must promptly give written notice of the decision to the lottery agent affected by the decision.
A notice under subsection (3) or (4) must comply with the QCAT Act , section 157 (2) .
