### sec.78 Meaning of agency agreements
An agency agreement is an agreement between a lottery operator and another person—
appointing the other person as an agent (a lottery agent ) for 1 or more of the following purposes—
selling lottery tickets;
paying prizes;
promoting lotteries conducted by the lottery operator;
another purpose relating to the conduct of lotteries by the lottery operator; and
dealing with the lottery agent’s authority; and
stating the conditions under which the lottery agent acts as, and remains, an agent of the lottery operator; and
stating other matters agreed between the lottery agent and the lottery operator.

- (i) selling lottery tickets;
- (ii) paying prizes;
- (iii) promoting lotteries conducted by the lottery operator;
- (iv) another purpose relating to the conduct of lotteries by the lottery operator; and
- (b) dealing with the lottery agent’s authority; and
- (c) stating the conditions under which the lottery agent acts as, and remains, an agent of the lottery operator; and
- (d) stating other matters agreed between the lottery agent and the lottery operator.
- (i) selling lottery tickets;
- (ii) paying prizes;
- (iii) promoting lotteries conducted by the lottery operator;
- (iv) another purpose relating to the conduct of lotteries by the lottery operator; and
