### sec.65B Cancellation or reduction of period of suspension
If the chief executive suspends a key person licence, the chief executive may, for any remaining period of suspension and at any time the suspension is in force—
cancel the period; or
reduce the period by a stated period.
The chief executive may cancel or reduce the period only if the chief executive considers it is appropriate to take the action.
The chief executive must immediately give written notice of the decision to—
the key person licensee; and
if the chief executive believed the key person licensee was an employee or a key operator of a primary licensee when the key person licence was suspended—the primary licensee.
Subsection (1) does not apply to an immediate suspension.
