### sec.58 Surrender of key person licence
A key person licensee may surrender the licence by written notice given to the chief executive.
The surrender takes effect on—
the day the notice is given to the chief executive; or
if a later day of effect is stated in the notice—the later day.
If the chief executive believes the key person licensee was at the time of the surrender an employee or a key operator of a primary licensee, the chief executive must promptly give notice of the surrender to the primary licensee.

(sec.58-ssec.1) A key person licensee may surrender the licence by written notice given to the chief executive.
(sec.58-ssec.2) The surrender takes effect on— the day the notice is given to the chief executive; or if a later day of effect is stated in the notice—the later day.
(sec.58-ssec.3) If the chief executive believes the key person licensee was at the time of the surrender an employee or a key operator of a primary licensee, the chief executive must promptly give notice of the surrender to the primary licensee.

- (b) if a later day of effect is stated in the notice—the later day.
