### sec.47 Application for key person licence
An application for a key person licence must be made to the chief executive in the approved form.
The application must be accompanied by—
if the applicant applies to be licensed as an employee—a letter from a primary licensee addressed to the chief executive stating that the licensee intends to employ the applicant as a key employee subject to the applicant being issued with a key person licence; and
any documents prescribed under a regulation; and
the application fee prescribed under a regulation.
The chief executive may, by written notice given to an applicant for a key person licence, require the applicant to give the chief executive further information or a document that is necessary and reasonable to help the chief executive decide the application.

(sec.47-ssec.1) An application for a key person licence must be made to the chief executive in the approved form.

(sec.47-ssec.3) The chief executive may, by written notice given to an applicant for a key person licence, require the applicant to give the chief executive further information or a document that is necessary and reasonable to help the chief executive decide the application.
- (a) if the applicant applies to be licensed as an employee—a letter from a primary licensee addressed to the chief executive stating that the licensee intends to employ the applicant as a key employee subject to the applicant being issued with a key person licence; and
- (b) any documents prescribed under a regulation; and
- (c) the application fee prescribed under a regulation.
