### sec.247 Continuation of appeals
This section applies if—
an appeal to a Magistrates Court was started under this Act before the commencement of this section; and
the appeal was not finally decided before the commencement.
This section applies despite the amendment of this Act by the Gaming Machine and Other Legislation Amendment Act (No. 2) 1999 .
The appeal may be continued and decided under this Act as in force immediately before the commencement of this section.

(sec.247-ssec.1) This section applies if— an appeal to a Magistrates Court was started under this Act before the commencement of this section; and the appeal was not finally decided before the commencement.
(sec.247-ssec.2) This section applies despite the amendment of this Act by the Gaming Machine and Other Legislation Amendment Act (No. 2) 1999 .
(sec.247-ssec.3) The appeal may be continued and decided under this Act as in force immediately before the commencement of this section.
- (a) an appeal to a Magistrates Court was started under this Act before the commencement of this section; and
- (b) the appeal was not finally decided before the commencement.
