### sec.228F Issue of licences to the State company and GCLC
On the commencement day, the Minister must—
issue a lottery licence to the State company; and
issue a lottery operator’s licence to GCLC.
For all purposes, the licences are taken to have been issued at the beginning of the day.
The term of each licence is the period ending on 31 July 2072.
Sections 9 to 15 do not apply to the issue of the licences.
Otherwise, this section does not limit the application of this Act to the licences.
The conditions of a licence may be changed under section 18 .
A licence may be suspended or cancelled, or amended to omit a lottery, under part 2A , division 5 .
