### sec.181A Direction about conduct of approved lottery
This section applies to an inspector who is supervising a matter mentioned in section 127 for an approved lottery.
The inspector may direct the lottery licensee or lottery operator for the approved lottery to take reasonable action, within the reasonable period stated by the inspector, to ensure the lottery is conducted in a way that does not jeopardise the integrity of the conduct of the approved lottery.
The direction may be given orally or by written notice.
If the direction is given orally, it must be confirmed by written notice given to the licensee or lottery operator as soon as practicable.
The lottery licensee or lottery operator must comply with the direction unless the licensee or lottery operator has a reasonable excuse.
Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.
