### sec.149 Participation by minors prohibited
A person involved in the conduct of an approved lottery must not accept an entry form, or money or other consideration for a lottery ticket, for the lottery from a minor.
Maximum penalty—40 penalty units.
It is a defence to a charge against subsection (1) to prove that the defendant had no reason to believe, and did not believe, that the person from whom the entry form, money or other consideration was accepted was a minor.
A minor must not participate in a lottery.
Maximum penalty—25 penalty units.
