### sec.60 Canals This section is about canals within the meaning of the Coastal Protection and Management Act 1995 , section 9 . If a local law affects the owner of a structure in a canal, the owner of the structure is— the holder of the development permit under the Planning Act to build the structure; or the owner of the land— that receives the benefit of the structure; or to which the structure is connected. (sec.60-ssec.1) This section is about canals within the meaning of the Coastal Protection and Management Act 1995 , section 9 . (sec.60-ssec.2) If a local law affects the owner of a structure in a canal, the owner of the structure is— the holder of the development permit under the Planning Act to build the structure; or the owner of the land— that receives the benefit of the structure; or to which the structure is connected. - (a) the holder of the development permit under the Planning Act to build the structure; or - (b) the owner of the land— (i) that receives the benefit of the structure; or (ii) to which the structure is connected. - (i) that receives the benefit of the structure; or - (ii) to which the structure is connected. - (i) that receives the benefit of the structure; or - (ii) to which the structure is connected.
