### sec.47 Competition authority requiring further information
The competition authority may, by notice given to a complainant, require the complainant to give the competition authority further information about the complaint (the additional information ) within the reasonable period stated in the notice (the stated period ).
However, the competition authority may only require additional information that is necessary and reasonable to help the competition authority to decide whether or not to investigate the complaint.
The competition authority may refuse to investigate a complaint if the complainant fails, without reasonable excuse, to give the competition authority the additional information within the stated period.

(sec.47-ssec.1) The competition authority may, by notice given to a complainant, require the complainant to give the competition authority further information about the complaint (the additional information ) within the reasonable period stated in the notice (the stated period ).
