### sec.288 Who may be appointed as authorised persons— Act , s 202
For section 202 (2) (b) (ii) of the Act , each of the following types of persons are prescribed—
a person who contracts with the relevant local government to provide services to it for the administration or enforcement of a Local Government Act;
a person who is an employee of an entity that contracts with the relevant local government to provide services to it for the administration or enforcement of a Local Government Act;
a person who is an employee of another local government and who performs duties for the relevant local government under an arrangement between the relevant local government and the other local government.
The relevant local government is the local government that employs the chief executive officer.
(sec.288-ssec.1) For section 202 (2) (b) (ii) of the Act , each of the following types of persons are prescribed— a person who contracts with the relevant local government to provide services to it for the administration or enforcement of a Local Government Act; a person who is an employee of an entity that contracts with the relevant local government to provide services to it for the administration or enforcement of a Local Government Act; a person who is an employee of another local government and who performs duties for the relevant local government under an arrangement between the relevant local government and the other local government.
(sec.288-ssec.2) The relevant local government is the local government that employs the chief executive officer.
- (a) a person who contracts with the relevant local government to provide services to it for the administration or enforcement of a Local Government Act;
- (b) a person who is an employee of an entity that contracts with the relevant local government to provide services to it for the administration or enforcement of a Local Government Act;
- (c) a person who is an employee of another local government and who performs duties for the relevant local government under an arrangement between the relevant local government and the other local government.
