### sec.27 Commercial business unit
As part of the commercialisation of a significant business activity, a local government must—
if the activity is being conducted by a business unit—convert the business unit to a commercial business unit; or
if the activity is not being conducted by a business unit—create a commercial business unit and transfer the activity to the commercial business unit.
A commercial business unit is a business unit that conducts business in accordance with the key principles of commercialisation.
(sec.27-ssec.1) As part of the commercialisation of a significant business activity, a local government must— if the activity is being conducted by a business unit—convert the business unit to a commercial business unit; or if the activity is not being conducted by a business unit—create a commercial business unit and transfer the activity to the commercial business unit.
(sec.27-ssec.2) A commercial business unit is a business unit that conducts business in accordance with the key principles of commercialisation.
- (a) if the activity is being conducted by a business unit—convert the business unit to a commercial business unit; or
- (b) if the activity is not being conducted by a business unit—create a commercial business unit and transfer the activity to the commercial business unit.
