### sec.104 Rate notice for rates or charges
A local government may levy rates or charges only by a rate notice.
A rate notice is a document stating—
the date when the rate notice is issued; and
the due date for payment of the rates or charges; and
if the local government has decided a discount applies to the rates or charges—
the terms of the discount; and
the last day of the discount period; and
if the local government has decided rates or charges may be paid by instalments—the requirements for paying by instalments; and
the ways in which the rates or charges may be paid.
(sec.104-ssec.1) A local government may levy rates or charges only by a rate notice.

- (a) the date when the rate notice is issued; and

- (c) if the local government has decided a discount applies to the rates or charges— (i) the terms of the discount; and (ii) the last day of the discount period; and
