### sec.75B Audit of electronically assisted voting for an election
The electoral commission must appoint an independent person to audit the information technology used for an election under the procedures for electronically assisted voting made under section 75A .
The audit must be conducted—
at least 7 days before the nomination day for the election; and
within 60 days after the polling day for the election.
A person appointed under subsection (1) must be an individual who is not, and has not ever been, a member of a political party.
The person appointed to conduct the audit may make recommendations to the electoral commission to reduce or eliminate risks that could affect the security, accuracy or secrecy of electronically assisted voting.
A regulation may prescribe requirements about the conduct of an audit under this section.
