### sec.39 Deposit to accompany nomination
At the same time as a nomination is given to the returning officer under section 27 , the nominee, or another person on behalf of the nominee, must deposit $250 with the returning officer.
The deposit must be paid—
in cash; or
by a cheque drawn by a financial institution; or
by electronic funds transfer.

(sec.39-ssec.1) At the same time as a nomination is given to the returning officer under section 27 , the nominee, or another person on behalf of the nominee, must deposit $250 with the returning officer.
