### sec.21A Electoral commission to keep register of special postal voters
The electoral commission must keep, or arrange to be kept, a register of special postal voters.
The electoral commissioner must, not less than 18 months but not more than 4 years after the result of a poll for a quadrennial election is declared, review the continuing eligibility of a person to cast a vote as a special postal voter.
In conducting the review, the electoral commissioner must—
require each relevant elector to advise, in the approved form, whether the elector still lives at the address shown on the voters roll; and
do a random check of approved forms given to the electoral commission under paragraph (a) to decide whether the signature on each approved form checked is the same as the signature on the elector’s application to be a special postal voter mentioned in section 68 (5A) .
In this section—
relevant elector means an elector whose name is included in the register of special postal voters because of a circumstance mentioned in section 68 (5A) (a) (i) or (ii) .
