### sec.13 Removal from office for membership of political party The electoral commission must remove a person from the office of returning officer or assistant returning officer if the person becomes a member of a political party. Subsection (1) does not limit the electoral commission’s power to remove a person from the office of returning officer or assistant returning officer.
