### sec.121B Donor must disclose source of gift or loan
This section applies to an entity that—
makes a gift of a value of $500 or more, or a loan of $500 or more, to—
a registered political party that endorses a candidate in an election; or
a candidate in an election; or
a group of candidates for an election; or
an associated entity of a registered political party that endorses a candidate in an election or of a candidate in an election or a group of candidates for an election; or
makes a gift mentioned in section 118A (1) to a third party.
When the entity makes the gift or loan, the entity must give the recipient of the gift or loan a notice that states—
the relevant details of the gift or loan in relation to the entity; and
if the entity is not the source of the gift or loan—
that fact; and
the relevant details of the gift or loan in relation to the entity that is the source of the gift or loan.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
