### sec.116F Responsibility for action in absence of agent This section applies if— a provision of this part imposes an obligation on the agent of— a registered political party that endorses a candidate in an election; or a group of candidates for an election; or a third party who is not an individual, whether or not the third party is registered for an election; and the entity does not have an agent for this part for the election. For a registered political party or a third party, each member of the executive committee (however described) of the registered political party or third party is responsible for complying with the obligation as if the provision applied to the member of the committee. For a group of candidates, each member of the group is responsible for complying with the obligation as if the provision applied to the member of the group. s 116F ins 2023 No. 8 s 26 (sec.116F-ssec.1) This section applies if— a provision of this part imposes an obligation on the agent of— a registered political party that endorses a candidate in an election; or a group of candidates for an election; or a third party who is not an individual, whether or not the third party is registered for an election; and the entity does not have an agent for this part for the election.
