### sec.83 Trustee business must be conducted separately
A trustee council must conduct its trustee business separately from its other local government business.
Trustee business is any business that relates to trust land.
So, the trustee council must—
maintain separate accounts and records for trustee business; and
in its capacity as trustee council, formally advise itself, in its capacity as local government, of matters relating to trustee business; and
hold separate meetings for trustee business from meetings for other local government business.

(sec.83-ssec.1) A trustee council must conduct its trustee business separately from its other local government business.
(sec.83-ssec.2) Trustee business is any business that relates to trust land.
(sec.83-ssec.3) So, the trustee council must— maintain separate accounts and records for trustee business; and in its capacity as trustee council, formally advise itself, in its capacity as local government, of matters relating to trustee business; and hold separate meetings for trustee business from meetings for other local government business.
