### sec.80A Malls
A local government may establish a mall in its local government area.
The local government must comply with the procedures prescribed under a regulation for establishing a mall.
The regulation may also provide for any other matter connected with managing, promoting or using a mall, including, for example—
removal of vehicles from a mall; and
review of a decision relating to the removal of a vehicle from a mall; and
matters relating to an advisory committee for a mall.
A person is not entitled to compensation on account of injurious affection to any right or interest of a business, commercial or industrial nature because of the establishment, modification or closing of a mall by a local government.
However, the local government may, by resolution, decide to pay compensation to the person.
The Land Act , chapter 4 , part 4 does not apply to a road that is a mall.

(sec.80A-ssec.1) A local government may establish a mall in its local government area.
(sec.80A-ssec.2) The local government must comply with the procedures prescribed under a regulation for establishing a mall.
