### sec.265A Land registry searches free of charge This section applies to any of the following persons— a chief executive officer; an employee of a local government who is authorised by a chief executive officer; a lawyer or other agent acting for a local government; an employee of a lawyer or agent mentioned in paragraph (c) who is authorised by the lawyer or agent. The person may conduct searches of registers or documents about land in the land registry in accordance with the practice of the registry without payment of a fee. s 265A ins 2010 No. 23 s 335 (sec.265A-ssec.1) This section applies to any of the following persons— a chief executive officer; an employee of a local government who is authorised by a chief executive officer; a lawyer or other agent acting for a local government; an employee of a lawyer or agent mentioned in paragraph (c) who is authorised by the lawyer or agent.
