### sec.260B New convictions must be disclosed This section applies if a person who holds the office of the assessor, a member of the conduct tribunal or a commissioner of the remuneration commission is convicted of an indictable offence during the term of the person’s appointment. The person must, unless the person has a reasonable excuse, immediately give the Minister a notice about the conviction. Maximum penalty—100 penalty units. The notice must include the following information— the existence of the conviction; when the offence was committed; sufficient details to identify the offence; the sentence imposed on the person.
