### sec.216C Who is permanent employee of the Brisbane City Council An employee of the Brisbane City Council is a permanent employee of the Council if— the employee is employed other than on a temporary or casual basis, and the employee’s employment is subject to an industrial instrument; or the employee is employed on contract, or for a specific time or for the duration of a specific function, and the Council declares the employee to be a permanent employee by notice given to the relevant trustee. s 216C ins 2016 No. 64 s 25 amd 2018 No. 8 s 34 - (a) the employee is employed other than on a temporary or casual basis, and the employee’s employment is subject to an industrial instrument; or - (b) the employee is employed on contract, or for a specific time or for the duration of a specific function, and the Council declares the employee to be a permanent employee by notice given to the relevant trustee.
