### sec.180 Appointment of chairperson and casual commissioners
The Governor in Council may appoint a person to be the chairperson of the remuneration commission.
The Governor in Council may appoint—
a person to be a casual commissioner of the remuneration commission; and
the number of casual commissioners the Governor in Council considers appropriate.
The Minister may recommend the appointment of a person as a commissioner only if the person is qualified under section 181 to be a commissioner.

(sec.180-ssec.1) The Governor in Council may appoint a person to be the chairperson of the remuneration commission.
(sec.180-ssec.2) The Governor in Council may appoint— a person to be a casual commissioner of the remuneration commission; and the number of casual commissioners the Governor in Council considers appropriate.
(sec.180-ssec.3) The Minister may recommend the appointment of a person as a commissioner only if the person is qualified under section 181 to be a commissioner.
