### sec.16 Review of divisions and councillors
For each local government, the electoral commission must, no later than 1 October in the year that is 2 years before the year of the quadrennial elections—
review whether each division of the local government’s local government area has a reasonable proportion of electors for each councillor elected for the division; and
give the local government and the Minister notice of the results of the review.
