### sec.152 Qualifications of councillors
A person is qualified to be a councillor of a local government only if the person—
is an adult Australian citizen; and
resides in the local government’s area; and
is enrolled on an electoral roll kept under the Electoral Act , section 58 ; and
is not disqualified from being a councillor because of a section in this division.

- (a) is an adult Australian citizen; and
