### sec.150Z Notice about decision to dismiss complaint or take no further action
This section applies if the assessor decides to—
dismiss a complaint about the conduct of a councillor under section 150X ; or
take no further action about the conduct of a councillor under section 150Y .
The assessor must give a notice about the decision to—
for a decision to dismiss a complaint—the person who made the complaint, if the assessor has the person’s contact details; and
the councillor; and
the local government.
The notice must—
for a decision to dismiss a complaint—state the date the complaint was made; and
briefly summarise the conduct; and
briefly state the decision and the reasons for the decision; and
for a complaint dismissed because it is frivolous—advise the person who made the complaint that, if the person makes the same or substantially the same complaint to the assessor again, the person commits an offence punishable by a fine of up to 85 penalty units.

(sec.150Z-ssec.1) This section applies if the assessor decides to— dismiss a complaint about the conduct of a councillor under section 150X ; or take no further action about the conduct of a councillor under section 150Y .
(sec.150Z-ssec.2) The assessor must give a notice about the decision to— for a decision to dismiss a complaint—the person who made the complaint, if the assessor has the person’s contact details; and the councillor; and the local government.

- (a) dismiss a complaint about the conduct of a councillor under section 150X ; or
