### sec.150CW Qualifications for appointment
A person is qualified to hold the office of assessor if the person has extensive knowledge of, and experience in, any of the following areas—
local government;
investigations;
law;
public administration;
public sector ethics.
A person is not qualified to hold the office of the assessor if the person—
has a conviction for an indictable offence, other than a spent conviction; or
is an insolvent under administration; or
is guilty of misconduct of a type that could warrant dismissal from the public service if the assessor were a public service officer.

(sec.150CW-ssec.1) A person is qualified to hold the office of assessor if the person has extensive knowledge of, and experience in, any of the following areas— local government; investigations; law; public administration; public sector ethics.
(sec.150CW-ssec.2) A person is not qualified to hold the office of the assessor if the person— has a conviction for an indictable offence, other than a spent conviction; or is an insolvent under administration; or is guilty of misconduct of a type that could warrant dismissal from the public service if the assessor were a public service officer.
- (a) local government;
- (b) investigations;
