### sec.150CH Power to require information
This section applies if an investigator reasonably believes—
an offence against a conduct provision has been committed and a person may be able to give the investigator information about the commission of the offence; or
a person has information reasonably necessary for the investigator to investigate the conduct of a councillor.
The investigator may, by notice given to the person, require the person to give the investigator the information by a stated reasonable time.
When making a requirement of a person under subsection (2) , the investigator must give the person an offence warning for the requirement.
For information that is an electronic document, compliance with the requirement requires the giving of a clear image or written version of the electronic document.
In this section—
information includes a document.
