### sec.150AC Referral of suspected conduct breach
The assessor refers the councillor’s conduct to the local government to deal with by giving a notice (a referral notice ) to the local government.
The referral notice must—
include details of the conduct and any complaint received about the conduct; and
state why the assessor reasonably suspects the councillor has engaged in a conduct breach; and
include information about the facts and circumstances forming the basis for the assessor’s reasonable suspicion.
