### sec.148F Making of inquiries for local government
This section applies if the chief executive officer suspects or believes, on reasonable grounds, that information included in a register or record of the local government is incorrect because of an error or omission.
The chief executive officer or, if directed by the chief executive officer, an authorised person may make all inquiries the chief executive officer considers to be reasonable to find out whether and to what extent the register or record is incorrect.

(sec.148F-ssec.1) This section applies if the chief executive officer suspects or believes, on reasonable grounds, that information included in a register or record of the local government is incorrect because of an error or omission.
