### sec.215 Refund of fee If the commissioner— accepts a surrender of a licence or permit; or cancels a licence or permit; in respect of which a fee has been paid for any period subsequent to the date of surrender or cancellation, a refund must be made to, or as directed by, the former licensee or permittee of the portion of the fee that is proportionate to the unexpired period for which the fee has been paid. s 215 amd 2008 No. 48 s 36 ; 2012 No. 25 s 144 (1) - (a) accepts a surrender of a licence or permit; or - (b) cancels a licence or permit;
